Surfing opportunity of a lifetime…

Surfing in Fiji is considered to be one of the best surfing adventures in the world. Luckily, Castaway Island Fiji is only minutes away from the best breaks in the world.

Fantastic Fiji surf breaks are found along the southern part of the Malolo Barrier Reef in the Mamanuca Islands.

Daily boat trips are offered from Castaway Island Fiji to Wilkes Passage, CloudBreak, Desperation and Restaurants breaks.

Cloudbreak in particular is loved by surfers worldwide due to its power, hollowness and the fact that it is very long, consistent and holds big swells. (That’s surf-speak for AWESOME!)

Here’s a surfer’s own description of Cloudbreak from www.wannasurf.com…

“Cloudbreak is consistent and holds big swells. With several takeoff spots and heaving sections, it is the ultimate proving ground for surfing- especially on big days.”

With a minimum of 3 persons, surf trips from Castaway Fiji to Cloudbreak or Desperation are only $140.00 (tax incl. – subject to change)

We can also take you to Wilkes, Swimming Pool, Namotu Left and Namotu Right for $95.00 (tax incl. – subject to change).

Castaway Island also offer stand up paddle boards to use on a complimentary basis around the house reef.

Unlike your sneaky Sunday morning surfing escapes, you won’t feel at all guilty for eating into quality spouse and family time. Here’s a list of things to do on Castaway Fiji for the rest of your non-surfing party. They’ll be so busy relaxing, swimming, diving, eating, paddling and snorkelling, they won’t even notice you’ve gone!

Pack your surfboard and indulge your family or a group of surfing friends in a vacation of a life time. Cloudbreak awaits you.

Castaway Fiji is truly everyone’s place…and pace.

Surfboard size recommendation

If you’re bringing your own surfboard it is suggested larger boards are the way to go.  6’10? to 7? 6? is a good bet. It is a powerful reef surf, so small boards are no go unless you are very experienced. Bigger is usually better but not too big:)
